As a kid, I always used to blow dandelion seeds off of the stem and make a wish that would supposedly be granted if you could blow them all off at once. The seeds are a little coarser and about 5 times the size of the dandelion. I had one "volunteer" in my tank garden and I let it grow just for the seed heads. I only had a chance to take a few pics but I'm pretty sure there will be one or two returning next year.
