Not As Planned...

Isn’t it funny how everything in life is relative?  Five millimeters in one instance can be tiny and 5 mm in another instance can be huge, really huge.  My husband has a 5 mm kidney stone.  Since the stone is too big to pass on it’s own, he goes in to get it ‘blasted’ today.  We were going to spend spring break in Florida, but that is out of the question right now.  That’s okay.  He will be well soon and that is a better diagnosis than many people will get today.

Needless to say, I have been busy and haven’t had time to take pictures or be on my computer much. But I wanted to play today at Kim Klassen’s Texture Tuesday, so I searched my archives and found some flowers that remind me of spring, luckily the theme is ‘free and easy’.  My image was textured with the Kim Klassen texture ‘dollard soft and gentle’.

Thank you for stopping by!!  I can’t wait to see your beautiful creations, they do inspire me, it just may take me longer this week to take a peek over at Texture Tuesday.

Have a great week!
Michelle

  1. Dear Michelle,
first I hope your husband is getting better after blasting the kidney stone. And yes, 5mm could be a lot in this case. It doesnt matter that you had no time to take pictures for TT. This flower pic is wonderful for spring and as you know I love this combination of colors yellow and soft blue. It is so refreshing...! Are these chrysanthemums? I love this flowers because they are very thankful in garden and in vases. Unfortunately snales love them too.
Best greetings for you husband, and have a wonderful week!!!
    Your Brigitte
