A Flower Crown

"A daughter is one of the most beautiful gifts this world has to give."
 -  Laurel Atherton

What is the last thing a teenage girl wants to do on a Friday afternoon after jumping off the school bus?

...pose for pictures with a flower crown on.

It took a little begging, arm twisting and bribing...but she did it.  She actually puts up with a lot of my silly requests.  :)

This was the first time I made a flower wreath/crown.  It was much easier than I thought, a quick look on Pinterest (fresh, flower, crown, diy) lead me to possible ideas.

I don't think it will be my last wreath...

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a great long weekend!

  1. Such a sweet post of your daughter wearing her crown, maybe she doesn't appreciate this now but she will. Love the one on the Adirondack chair, hope that is how you spell it. :0 Also the use of the Misty Blue for the wreath base is spot on. Love that stuff and easy to work with. Also thanks for your note this morning. Love e-mails while I am having my coffee. Have a beautiful day.

  4. So delicate. My 13 & 10 year old granddaughters would jump at the chance to wear it! Thank You to your daughter for modeling. It's snowing here. Hope you have a sunny weekend.

  5. Fabulous wreath. Your daughter was fabulous. They don't get anymore helpful the older they get. Now when I take photos of her, I have to get her approval before posting any of them. Not sure it is worth it anymore. I might just have to go back to self-portraiture.
