The sun has been shining.
It brightens my day.
I am cautiously optimistic that the early spring weather
will continue, our snow is almost melted, the temperatures are above freezing
and we may see a 60 degree high temperature this week.
I have become rather lax about my winter gratitude
list. (You can read my first list here.) I do keep it in mind, even if I
don't officially write anything down. My
winter gratitude list has really helped me keep a better attitude about winter. I plan to continue my gratitude
journal because it seems if I count my blessings, I find even more to be thankful
for. I keep an eye out for blessings to
write down, or just acknowledge, and guess what? I always find something, no matter how small,
to be grateful for. It reminds me how
wonderful life is truly is...
Today I am joining Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday and the
class Be Still. The assignment for Be
Still was Glass...Light...Shades of white...Airy. I textured my images with Kim's texture mondays.
Thank you for stopping by!!
Have a great week!!
Michelle
Oh my. So very very Beautiful. Just love these photos Michelle.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week. ️xo
Lovely photos, Michelle. You've nailed the airy, light, shades of white brief beautifully. Your winter gratitude list is a very positive way to approach the tail end of a difficult season. If possible I think it's always best to focus on the good things: "Smile and the World smiles with you", in the words of the song. All the best and wishing you lots of warm spring sunshine, Bonny
ReplyDeleteA little bit of sun makes such a difference, doesn't it? Your images are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteFinding beauty in small things and being grateful for them - it does make things lighter, life easier. And there is always something to find to be grateful for, things we often take for granted.
WOW...I'm in love with these beauties! Love the light and airy and refreshing mood! And, I love that you are continuing with writing down gratitudes...a very good thing, and I need to start a journal for that. It's such a positive thing to do. Thank you Michelle!!
ReplyDeleteI love working with glass but need more space! These images are truly light, airy, and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos today. My hubby used to dig bottles and I need to pull a few out for photo sessions. Love your airy light way of processing.
ReplyDeleteOh Michelle, I seriously LOVE your images! Yup, you surely nailed the light and airy!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting my blog. I normally don't shoot at night either (LOVE the natural light) but if I can't get it, I'm not afraid of the dark....... It at least feeds the camera hunger.
Love your light filled , soft photos Michelle ! So pretty !
ReplyDeleteI love these light, airy photos! I wanted to do some this week but so far it's rain, rain and more rain to come. But as soon as I get some brightening of any kind, I'm going to be out on the back porch with bottles and vases and whatever I can think of. My soul needs it. Great idea about the winter gratitude list. The spring gratitude list will be much easier!
ReplyDeleteThe sun is shinning. You captured the light and airy beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI just adore the dreamy quality of the last photo. So awesome! I just want to touch it. I should work on a gratitude list. Especially before the holidays when I get in a funk. I will put this on my list for October for sure.
ReplyDeleteOh man, I feel as though I have had a little rest in the dreamiest piece of heaven right now. These shots are just terrific. Wow, lovely.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful white balance. The white daisy is innocent and quiet. :)
ReplyDeleteWarming up here too and the snow is melting. Now we have water and mud, but it will be so worth it in the long run.
ReplyDeleteI love these images --the clear glass bottles, the flower, beautiful light!
ReplyDeleteSo simple and happy this one little daisy. Your vintage glass is lovely too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful detail Michelle.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful grouping of bottles and I love the faint hint of color in there...wonderfully processed...Very nice Michelle.
ReplyDeleteYour back light shots are gorgeous; love the bottles capture.
