Sedona, Arizona


I took this photo with my iphone and textured it with kk_touchof-1.


I visited Sedona over Christmas with my daughter, husband and his family.  It is beautiful.  I feel like my pictures don’t begin to capture all the beauty contained in those red rocks.  


I shot this photo with my iphone and textured it with kk_touchof-1.  I do not know the people, but I like how they add a sense of scale to the photo.


My favorite pictures are the iphone panoramic shots.  The panoramic shot gives the feeling of being surrounded by the red rocks, actually being there.


I took this photo with my iphone and textured it with kk_totalgrunge.

 I can’t wait to play with the rest of my pictures from Sedona.

    The red earth has always intrigued me! Love the panoramic view and the blue skies are so beautiful!!

    I wish I had know you were here, would have loved to met you. I so agree every time I am there, you just can't capture the beauty or at least I just can't. I was going this week, hope I make it. You know how it is you live so close and you let things slide and never get there. I am only 1 1/2 hours south of Sedona so an easy day trip. Love the different perspective.

      I would have loved to meet you too! Hopefully there will be a next time. I truly enjoyed my visit. We flew into Phoenix and spent a day there before heading home. I saw your butterflies last week and wished we would have gone to see them. Make sure you take that day trip to Sedona, you won't regret it.

    You are so right ... there is no way to fully capture the essence of Sedona in photos. But you did a good job! The light is gorgeous.
